Bible Verse of the Day, Wednesday 19th March 2025
Open Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of gratitude and awe. You have revealed Yourself through Jesus Christ, who is the exact representation of Your being. As we meditate on Your Word, open our minds to understand, our hearts to receive, and our lives to reflect Your truth. Let Your Holy Spirit guide us into deeper knowledge of Christ, that we may live in faith and confidence. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Bible Verse (Hebrews 1:3, NKJV):
“Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.”
Short Message:
This verse highlights the supremacy of Christ. He is not merely a prophet or teacher but the very radiance of God’s glory. Through Him, we see the full nature and power of God. Not only does He sustain the universe by His powerful word, but He also accomplished our redemption through His sacrifice. Now, seated at the right hand of God, He reigns in majesty, interceding for us. This truth gives us confidence in His authority, power, and the completeness of our salvation.
Lessons from Hebrews 1:3:
1. Jesus is the Full Revelation of God – He is the exact representation of God’s nature, meaning when we see Jesus, we see God Himself (John 14:9).
2. Jesus Sustains All Things – The universe is not held together by chance but by the powerful word of Christ (Colossians 1:17).
3. Jesus Purged Our Sins – Salvation is complete through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross (1 John 1:7).
Jesus is Seated in Authority – His position at the right hand of God signifies His finished work and supreme reign (Ephesians 1:20-21).
4. Jesus is Our Mediator – As our High Priest, He continues to intercede for us before the Father (Hebrews 7:25).

Almighty God, we thank You for sending Jesus, the perfect revelation of Your glory and love. We praise You for His sustaining power, His sacrifice for our sins, and His reign in majesty. Help us to trust in His authority and rest in the assurance of our salvation. May we live each day in the light of His truth, reflecting His glory in all we do. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
